The warmth and charm of this beautiful private lakefront cottage exudes throughout this little piece of heaven.
Stepping into the large foyer, the lovely terrazzo floor tile is a warm welcome to the start of any vacation. The expansive and bright open concept kitchen is a cook's dream providing all of the amenities of home while the family gathers around the large dining table.
Wall to wall windows along the front of the cottage with a southwest exposure supplies an endless panoramic view of beautiful Otter Lake. The floor to ceiling fireplace in the large living room with seating for eight, is an inviting spot for a good old fashion evening of family chats or perhaps engage in a board game or two.
The five generous sized bedrooms are cheerfully decorated with modern decor. The master bedroom with a king-sized bed has a convenient 2 piece ensuite while the remaining two bedrooms have a queen in one and a double in the other. The main floor 4 piece bathroom is nicely located between the living and bedroom areas.
On the lower level, the walk-out basement is bright and open offering a family room area with a large screen TV and a DVD player. There is also a ping pong table and a wood stove. Two other bedrooms are located off of the family room offering further sleeping quarters with a queen bed and a double bottom/single top bunk bed in one room while the 5th bedroom has a set of single beds. A three piece bathroom services the downstairs area.
Outside, enjoy the hot tub, sandy beach, dock, two kayaks, and a canoe or gather around the large fire-pit to roast marshmallows. The wrap around deck hosts a picnic table, table for two for a romantic dinner perhaps, or sit back and take in the breeze from the lake in the comfortable Muskoka chairs.

WINTER ACTIVITIES:

The Frost Centre has approximately 25kms of groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails with 8 looped trails of all levels. Ski and snowshoe rentals are available. They offer half-day and full-day passes. Frost Centre Information

Downhill Skiing is available within a half hour drive from the cottage at Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area as well as Sir Sam's Ski/Ride is under an hour from the cottage.

Dorset is a great place to enjoy Snowmobiling. The Tall Pines Snowmobile Club, part of the Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs, offers 200kms of groomed trails that lead to thousands of kms of trails in the province. Muskoka Snowmobile Trail Information

**Vacationer supplies their own linens: Sheets and pillowcases + Inside towels, kitchen towels and beach towels. Please inquire about other arrangements.
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.
**Adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own children's life jackets due to safety and liability concerns
