Welcome to F140 Walkers Little Chute. This charming family cottage, tucked away on sheltered Shanty Bay on heavily sought-after Lake Muskoka means all of Muskoka’s main attractions are only a stone’s throw away. Ideal for kids and teens. This three-bedroom, one bathroom cottage offers plenty of surrounding forest coverage and 164 feet of waterfront.
Recently updated, this cottage offers three bedrooms with sleeping accommodations for eight guests. On the main level is the master bedroom. With a Queen bed, privacy is granted with direct access to the main living space. Upstairs find the two additional bedrooms, both offering a single over single bunk, with an additional single bed in both bedrooms.
An upstairs loft offers two armchairs placed around a large coffee table. Perfect for board games, this open-concept space is the ideal hangout spot for the kids, with direct access to the upstairs guests’ bedrooms. Downstairs is the main living space. The bright open concept main floor means everything is situated together, and accessible. Beneath the upper loft, two couches situated around a 49” Smart TV presents the ideal opportunity for a family movie night. Additionally, off the living room is a four-piece bathroom with washer and dryer for guests’ convenience.
In the living space there is a large eight-person dining table offering views of the lake and front deck. A well-equipped kitchen offers a stove with oven, fridge, water cooler, coffee machine, and plenty of cooking dishes and utensils for guests’ convenience. Off the main living space, attractive French doors lead to a private sunroom, offering a separate exterior entrance, a loveseat with coffee table, and views of Shanty Bay.
Outdoors find a spacious 32 X 14 foot front deck. With an outdoor dining table, two Muskoka chairs, and extra seating available, time outdoors can be optimized. On the front yard below, a firepit is situated next to the lake. A stone pathway guides guests from the cottage to the water where a 32 X 12 foot dock can be found, offering extensive views of the bay.
On the dock are four Muskoka chairs, a table, and large umbrella; allowing guests the option of dining on the dock. Additionally, discover a platform on the shore, offering two benches and plenty of shaded cover. A paddleboat is available for guests’ convenience along with space for guests to store personal watercraft.
One of “the big three,” Lake Muskoka is an extensive body of water presenting miles of recreational boating opportunities and activities on the lake. In the nearby town of Gravenhurst (accessible by both boat and car), discover the historic Muskoka Steamships. Take a trip north to Bracebridge and discover all the fun to be had at Santa’s Village, or travel across the lake to Port Carling, and enjoy dinner on the patio at one of the many restaurants lakeside.

**Vacationer supplies their own linens: Sheets and pillowcases + Inside towels, kitchen towels and beach towels. Please inquire about other arrangements.
**Paper products: The cottage will provide enough to get you started, but vacationers must supply their own, including toilet paper and paper towels.
**Some adult life jackets are supplied. Vacationers must bring their own children's life jackets due to safety and liability concerns.
