Featuring a sandy shoreline, four bedrooms and a bunkie, Bird's Nest is perfect for the family’s vacation. The cottage is located on Bird Lake, a small quiet lake just east of Bracebridge. Bird's Nest is at the end of Bird Lake in a bay area.

This four-bedroom cottage features a comfortable living room / dining area open concept, with a fully equipped kitchen. It is beautifully decorated in pleasant cottage décor, with complete tongue-and-groove pine walls and ceilings throughout. There are plenty of windows and glass patio doors to provide lots of sunlight.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and a patio door walk-out with a view of the lake. A second bedroom has a double bed. The children’s room has a bunk bed with double lower and single upper bunk. The fourth bedroom has a pull-out couch and also serves as playroom on a rainy day. In addition to these sleeping quarters, there is a small Bunkie which sleeps three on the property.

The kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, plus an extra bar fridge and freezer. At 1100 square feet, this fully winterized cottage is comfortably compact, with dining room table that seats up to eight, and flooring is new linoleum and carpet. Heating is electric baseboard and woodstove. There is a big screen 52-inch television with satellite in the living room, as well as a smaller tv with VHS in another room. Just outside the living room is a large deck with an outdoor dining table seating eight.

The town of Bracebridge, half an hour away, gives you a chance to shop, catch a movie, see the Falls -- and visit Santa at Santa’s Village!

The cottage is fully winterized and available all year round, so get ready to romp in the snow this winter. There are many trails in this area, and in winter there are snowmobile trails across the lake. Bring your X-skis and enjoy the pleasure of whisking through the snow trails. In the evening, sit by the cozy wood fire and watch big-screen television.

This is an ideal cottage for a family with children, so don’t put off booking this cottage, as it will book up quickly!

Waterfront:  Sandy beach edge stretches across much of the 110-foot frontage. There is hard sand bottom, with a gradual entrance into the water, but it gets quite deep at the end of the twenty-foot dock. There is excellent fishing in this lake, particularly bass and perch.
