A closed-in porch brings you into the Great Room where the open-concept kitchen, eating area and living space will be the indoor gathering spot. A cathedral ceiling and big windows add to the open feeling while the décor is welcoming and comfortable. Sliding doors lead out to the large, newly built deck. Here Muskoka chairs beckon you to watch the river and catch the sunset through the towering silver birch trees at the end of the day. Quiet peacefulness abounds in this private setting.
The three-bedroom Cardinal Cottage provides additional sleeping in the loft that overlooks the Great Room. You will find a queen bed in each of two of the bedrooms. The third bedroom has a futon with a double bed on the bottom, single on the top and another separate single bed. An open, spiral, wrought-iron staircase winds up to the loft where there is a double bed and more room for sleeping.
There is grass right up to the 200 feet of shoreline on this level property plus a small sandy beach area. Swimmers will enjoy the T-shaped dock and 12 feet of deep water for diving off the end of it. Explore the river as it winds and twists its way through Muskoka with the canoe or paddleboat provided. For the more adventurous, paddle to the falls and portage to the Lake of Bays!
