Nestled among the trees, and overlooking beautiful Three Mile Lake, White Pine Ledges, a bright and clean cottage, offers all the comforts of home. Lots of loving care has resulted in unique features.
This bright and attractive cottage features five bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed, the second and third bedrooms a double bed; these are all on the main floor. On the lower level the first bedroom has a single bed, and the second offers a set of bunk beds with double on the bottom and single on top. The kitchen, living room, and dining area are all open concept with a view of the lake through large windows and a set of patio doors. The dining table has a great view of lake and offers seating for eight. The living room offers comfortable seating for six and has a lovely wood burning fireplace for taking the chill off on cool evenings.
The deck that runs the full length of the cottage is accessed through patio doors in the living room area. There is plenty of room to sit and enjoy the views, or to barbecue a meal. An octagon picnic table with an umbrella offers the opportunity to dine alfresco. The stairs will take you down to the dock and waterfront where you can relax, or go swimming.
The clear lake will be inviting on those warm days and you will want to be spending your time down at this wonderful waterfront. A canoe, paddleboat, rowboat and kayak are available for exploring the lake or enjoying a morning of fishing.
From the cottage, it is a short drive to the village of Port Sydney, with its general store, restaurants and huge, sandy public beach, or take the twenty minute drive to Huntsville for shopping, Pioneer Village, Algonquin Theatre, many restaurants and other amenities. Algonquin Park is less than an one hour drive.
