For those planning a trip to Algonquin Park, this cottage is perfect for them, being only 10 minutes away from the park gate! This waterfront cottage is located on the stretch between the falls and river, and there is a beautiful view of the lake and woods on the other side, as there are no other cottages across from it.

This cozy cottage has two bedrooms inside, with a queen and double sized bed, and a newly renovated four piece bathroom. There is a Bunkie outside with a double and a single sized bed, a perfect spot for the children to sleep in the summer months!

The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker, blender, kettle and serving sets for 10 people. There is a dining table in the living area, with seats for four, and two bar stools available at the counter. There are also extra chairs available in the bedrooms to bring out for more seating. The living area has a large couch, which pulls out into a double sized bed. There is a Television with a DVD player, which is perfect for watching movies with the family.

The Muskoka room which overlooks the beautiful view of the lake, has seating for four and a bar fridge. This is a great place to play cards or board games while looking out at the water. The deck is where the BBQ is located and is a great place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun.

The sun can be enjoyed on the T-shape dock for most of the day. Swimming is excellent as there are few weeds, solid sandy bottom and the water gets very deep (60ft) in the middle. There's something to do for everyone, with all of the water toys this cottage has to offer-- a canoe, rowboat and two kayaks. For those who love to fish, there are bass and whitefish throughout the Oxtongue Lake area. The whole family can gather around the fire pit by the water at night and enjoy smores and other treats!

Spend a day or the afternoon exploring the area and all that it has to offer! This cottage offers many scenic activities it is only a five minute walk to the falls at the Oxtongue dam or a 5 minute drive to either Ragged Falls or Oxtongue Rapid parks. There are no motor boats allowed at this cottage, as it is between the falls and Oxtongue River. Visitors enjoy hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, or camping at Algonquin Park, which is only ten minutes away. Also available nearby are a variety of artisan and antique shops and restaurants as well as horseback riding, zip line and ATV tours and several golf courses. Scenic 20 minute drives from the cottage to the larger towns of Huntsville or Dorset offer additional attractions.

This cottage is open year round, which makes it the perfect get away for any family adventure! During the fall season this area sports the best views of the leaves changing colours, especially with the cottage being only a short distance from all of the trails and lookouts in Algonquin Park. In the winter there are many activities in this area including skiing (both downhill and cross country), snow shoeing, dog sledding, snow tubing, snowmobiling, and ice fishing.
