Location: Eagle Lake, Near Haliburton, Ontario

This cottage is a beautiful, newly renovated paradise perched high above the waters of Eagle Lake in Haliburton County. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage offers a cozy feel with a modern twist: it's perfect for a family who is looking for a picturesque getaway, beautiful views, pristine waters for lakeside activities and a cottage space that has it all. This 1200 sqft cottage is a true gem with a layout that is perfect for nature lovers, adventurers and those simply in need of a relaxing and peaceful getaway.

The entrance to the cottage opens up into the living room where a large stone fireplace and comfortable L-shaped couch seating can be found. The cottage has an open concept which provides guests with a feeling of togetherness. The large A-frame windows offer a floor-to-ceiling view of the deck and lake to the front of the cottage. This set of windows provides natural light throughout the whole cottage and when the side windows are open and the sun is glistening off of the lake, a gentle breeze drifts through the cottage creating the serene feeling of a calm and stress free surrounding. The living room also features a 36 inch flat-screen television with a DVD player for rainy cottage days. To the left of the television and living room the indoor dining table seats four people. Next to the dining area is the kitchen with all new appliances. The kitchen is complete with all the baking, cooking and barbecuing essentials and is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, utensils and anything else one might need for the preparation, serving and cooking of those much anticipated family meals.

Three bedrooms can be found towards the back of the cottage . The master bedroom is open with a large window offering yet another lovely view of the lake and forest. This bedroom contains a queen bed and ensuite two-piece bathroom. Just down the hall is the second bedroom which has two single beds. Across from that is the third bedroom which is home to a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top. The second and main bathroom is along this bedroom hallway offering a four-piece set up.

While the cottage interior has much to offer, the deck and outdoor landscape is the main attraction to this beautiful haven. The wrap-around deck is home to the barbecue, a number of Muskoka chairs and six-person patio set for guests to sit out and enjoy the picturesque views the cottage offers. With a stone stairway that leads to the 200-foot waterfront, there are two separate "stop spots" eventually bringing guests to the lakeside. The first level has a sitting area offering guests a spot to relax and enjoy the sunsets. The second "stop spot" is where the fire pit can be found; this level platform is surrounded by tall trees and is home to one of the best views on the lake. Share laughter with the kids, enjoy star gazing on clear summer nights, roast marshmallows and share memories of the days past around a toasty fire on this beautiful cottage property.

The treed area surrounding the cottage provides guests with privacy and a much needed retreat surrounded by its exquisite Haliburton exterior. Eagle Lake is attached by a small channel to Moose Lake which is predominantly Crown Land and unspoilt; making it a perfect canoe or kayak day trip. Explore the area by taking a walk into the small town of Eagle Lake or take a drive to one of the many Haliburton attractions. Take a short drive to Sir Sams and enjoy the many year round activities that it has to offer. With so much excitement right out your front door it will be hard to say goodbye to such a wonderful place.
