Location: North Kahshe Lake, Near Gravenhurst, Ontario

This lovingly restored cottage is perfect for a family who love the water and boating. This boat-access-only cottage is on mainland, but is in a wilderness area, perfect for those who enjoy privacy and the outdoors. The cottage is on a point with two accesses to the water. The is a full L-shaped deck (700 sf) at the side and front of the cottage and gives a full view to the water. The BBQ is on the deck outside the kitchen door for cooking ease, and the master bedroom also opens out onto the side deck where a cup of morning coffee can be enjoyed, or a glass of wine to end your day.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel stove and refrigerator with modern, deluxe cupboards and counter tops. The large dining table will seat eight people. From the table you have a complete view of the waterfront. The ceilings throughout the cottage are cedar, with pine floors and walls, making the cottage very appealing.

In the living room the comfortable furniture will seat six people. There is a TV, DVD player and CD player but no satellite or internet service. The unique hand-made fireplace is the focal point of this room. Again, the view to the lake is right there to enjoy. On the deck outside the living room, there is a unique table made from barn boards with logs for outdoor seating to enjoy the evening meal. There are three bedrooms with sleeping for five people. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom a double bed, and the third bedroom has a single.

The bathroom is between the second and third bedroom and is a three-piece with a shower. The waterfront is very private, as it is situated in its own little bay. The frontage is 275 feet and there is scattered seating to relax or sunbathe, or just curl up with a good book. The property gets a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. At the dock there is a four person paddle boat, a canoe and a paddleboard for your use. The dock is 26’ X 9’, with a ladder and can accommodate a boat up to 20’. Depending on the water levels, there can be a small sandy beach for the kids. Near the waterfront is a hammock for lazy days and a large swing hanging from a tree for the more energetic.

There are two marinas that can be used to launch a boat from and park, as well both of them operate water taxi services.

Due to the many pine trees surrounding the cottage, there is NO fire pit at this cottage due to the danger of a serious fire.

This clean, cozy and comfortable cottage is perfect for making many family memories.
