Location: Fairy Lake, Near Huntsville, Ontario.

For an easy destination located near shopping, ski hill, lake, hospital, and Algonquin, this two-bedroom condo can’t be beat! With its modern décor, its two bathrooms, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, all the modern conveniences are there for this home-away-from-home getaway.

Located on popular Fairy Lake, this shared waterfront location has great swimming, and there are connected lakes from Fairy Lake through 1 lock and scenic winding river to Mary Lake, and Fairy Lake west to Muskoka River, through the town to Lake Vernon.

The condo has a small kitchen with all the modern appliances, washer/dryer, fridge, microwave, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. The living room contains seating for six, with television and DVD. The most splendid part is the extensive patio area, with a large round outdoor patio table seating six, with additional seating for summer living.

This condo is on the lower level, all on one floor with a walk-out to grass from the deck, a real plus for those who don’t want to climb stairs.

There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. In addition, there is a very comfortable queen pull-out in the living room, with a Simmons mattress. One bedroom has an ensuite four-piece bathroom with jacuzzi tub. There is a second four-piece bathroom for general use and for the second bedroom. There is closet space, and all the inside amenities have been thought of, such as ironing board and vacuum. Best of all, air conditioning is included.

For activity, this location is hard to beat – Algonquin Park is half an hour east; Arrowhead Park is 10 minutes northwest; and there are plenty of lakes in the area.

Here are some of the many activities open to you:

  • Golfing – there is a nine-hole golf course on site. There are also world class golf courses such as the Deerhurst Highlands and Mark O’Mara within a five-minute drive.
  • Swimming – a 10-minute leisurely stroll to the lovely new dock and seating areas. There is great swimming off the flat rocks as well as from the dock which has a swim ladder.
  • Hiking – Plenty of hiking trails nearby, with no cars, and wonderful views of Fairy Lake.
  • Algonquin Park – half an hour away – great for all seasons, especially the fall.
  • Shopping – the town of Huntsville has plenty of eclectic shops for anything you might want to purchase. Canoes, paddleboats and other water toys can be rented or purchased there as well.

This vacation rental is ideal for those who don’t want to “rough it” too much, with its all-on-one-floor interior, and its close location to town.

General Store:


  • $1,250 per week during high-season (High-Season includes Family Day Week, Victoria Day long weekend, March Break, the last full week of June to Labour Day Monday, Thanksgiving, as well as the week of Christmas and New Year's ).
  • $875 per week during off-season.
  • $208 per night during holiday weekends in off-season (3 night minimum).
  • $146 per night during off season (3 night min)
  • $600 refundable security deposit required.

    The Security Deposit is held as insurance for our owners that should malicious damages occur, they will not be financially responsible. Penalties will be charged to the guest for a number of reasons, not limited to: smoking inside a cottage where smoking is prohibited, exceeding the guest limit for the cottage, leaving garbage on the property, misuse of cottage property.
  • For stays 1 week or less: $59 Accidental Damage Insurance required.

    The Accidental Damage Insurance covers any unintentional damages declared by the guest before check out.
  • For stays longer than 1 week: $75 Accidental Damage Insurance required.

    The Accidental Damage Insurance covers any unintentional damages declared by the guest before check out.
  • $84 Cleaning Fee.
